The mention of the previous welcome they had received Downunder in Australia earlier in the week drew smiles, followed by the assumption that “the rest of the tour paled in comparison”! Clearly, a Kiwi welcome is the most memorable of all. Seated beneath a gazebo on a sunny day, the royal couple clearly enjoyed the traditional Māori words and song. On arrival at the gardens, the visitors were met by Hamilton Mayor Paula Southgate and welcomed to the Te Parapara Garden with a mihi whakatau which included greetings from Kīngi Tūheitia, who was unable to be there. Their whistlestop tour of Aotearoa, to promote and deepen New Zealand’s trade relationship with Sweden, included three stops in the Waikato, with visits to local recycling company Saveboard and Marphone Dairy Farm as well as the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, which receive more visits than any other attraction in the city. “Haere mai” was definitely the message for Saturday’s special visitors to Hamilton Gardens - Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, accompanied by Johan Forssell, Swedish Minister for Foreign Trade and International Development Co-operation. Let's talk about these dev diaries and the future of Victoria 3DD21. I’m looking forward to seeing them build it out from the foundation that they have.(From left): Hamilton Mayor Paula Southgate, Prince Daniel and Princess Victoria with Kīngitanga representatives. There are definitely areas I want to see improved, but overall I think their design works well and that’s not an easy task for a game with this many interlocking systems. Recently EU4 celebrated its 8th anniversary, today with new dev diary Paradox Interactive shared. I’m happy with my purchase and I feel like the game is pretty solid. Paradox Uzun Zamandr Beklenen Victoria 3 Duyurdu. Package those up, sell them for $10 or $15, while the core team continues to improve existing systems and build out new ones that everyone gets. If the core game is good, they can have the content team get to work on making major nations and different regions interesting and distinct in their own ways. Given their post-release development model and how Paradox is wanting to shift to selling flavor as opposed to mechanics, it makes sense. That is another feature I think that needs to be expanded upon so that you can have a WWI situation where Mexico and the USA are being courted in an ongoing war to expand it. That said I don't if I like the idea you can't join ongoing plays once they have resulted in war. I like the game, even though I’m not chomping at the bit to experience new nations since they’re not distinct enough. Very good dev diary using the crisis system for really every conflict was a great idea. A lot of replayability isn’t there yet, but I had quite a bit of fun in my playthroughs (mostly as Persia). Basically, dial in the core game experience for 1.0. Victoria 2 beta There’s currently no information regarding a Victoria 3 beta. First they need to make sure the mechanics are there, they function together, and there’s interesting ways of interacting with them. Paradox has officially announced that the Victoria 3 release date is set for October 25, 2022. Yeah, I think they had the priorities right. I still think this game has a lot of potential, but I’ll probably wait until the first expansion, which I get for free before invest a lot more time. You make slightly different choices on tech trees, depending if you have too many or too few people. Armies are too cumbersome to really make war interesting. Didn’t really feel that different through the 1860s. US, Brazil, Sweden, Egypt, Somalia, The Qing, Prussia and a couple of other countries. I’m taking a break from the game for exactly that reason. Playing Vietnam and seeing the same old graphic of European Victorians walking by other European Victorians talking about lack of opportunity for the Min ethnic group is kind of representative of the genericness and lack of interesting cultural and historical variety that the game really lacks right now. IMO, Warfare and Diplomacy need a lot more depth to keep things interesting, but this goes hand in hand with a LOT more cultural/area specific events/tailoring. Now as Dai Viet (Vietnam) it’s getting pretty same-y.
